I apologize to all my readers for getting into politics; that is not my business, but sooner or later, we all have to standup and make a statement about something we feel strongly about.  My problem is with Washington and its 51st state, the Jewish State of Israel!  Ever since that morning on 9/11/2001 when I witnessed the 2nd plane flying into the World Trade Center, I’ve been writing Letters to the Editor of the major newspapers in Utah.  All letters were dealing with why America got nailed on that day.  To me the answer was as obvious as the nose on my face–it was the American creation of, and continued support for, the Jewish Zionist State of Israel.  I’m just getting started now, but when time permits, I intend to add all 97 Letters to the Editor I’ve written since 9/11.  Almost none of those letters were published, but here I have a small window to the world and no one can edited them.  One parting statement, if you think I am anti-Semitic because I hate Israel and America’s support for that bunch–and totally support Falestine 100% instead–then I guess I’m anti-Semitic!  And I don’t care what you think!  Thanks.

Letter 97  May 14, 2018:

As I watch TV today, 62 unarmed Falestini have been shot and murdered inside Gaza by Israeli forces firing live ammo from just across the fence.  About 2700 were wounded.  They are desperately trying to bring attention to the world as they commemorate the 70th anniversary of Al Nakba, “The Catastrophe”.  That was the day the Jewish Zionist Israelis took control of their land and country.
Donald Trump is America’s 3rd Jewish president, or at least has Jewish bones in his closet (after both Roosevelts), and what he’s doing there today is totally wrong, and basically a crime against the Falestini and humanity.  Moving the American Embassy to Al Quds (Jerusalem) is the primary cause of the latest outrage and killings.
But let me stop for a moment and mention an article I got from the Provo Daily Herald (and AP) for Friday, November 30, 2007.  The front page headline was; “Bin Laden Claims sole responsibility for 9/11”.  Within the article the most important passage was; “The events of Manhattan were retaliation against the American-Israeli alliance’s aggression against our people in Palestine [Falestine] and Lebanon and I am the only one responsible for it.  The Afghan people and government knew nothing about it…..”.
Don’t know how this one slipped by the Jewish censors, but it did—then that news was buried and never heard of again.  It was the invisible wire pullers who put it under wraps!
Here’s a quote from Aljazeera.com this evening (5/14/2018); White House spokesman Raj Shah has accused Hamas’ leaders of making a “gruesome and unfortunate propaganda attempt” after the killing of at least 55 Palestinian protesters by Israeli forces. Wonder how much they paid that Iranian guy for making that statement?
After, and because of 9/11, America got into wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Yeman and Syria, plus we now have troops in Somalia and Mali, and maybe other African countries (?). Big secret!  They are fighting Al Qaida & ISIS–who are opposed to the Jewish state, and America–for creating the Jewish Israeli state in the first place.
Now a news bulletin from me: We are fighting in all those wars halfway around the world for one reason; to protect the Jewish, Zionist state of Israel!  Israel is the epicenter/ground zero for most, if not all, the fighting, upheaval and killing that’s going on over there today!  Period!
A question. Who says that land belongs to the Jews? The Falestini have been there since humans left Africa—wasn’t that about 75,000 years ago?  But the Jews have been wandering in & out of those parts for only about 3700 years–if my information is correct (?).
I think it’s time for all Americans to start thinking & discussing what we’re doing halfway around the world.

History of Kelsey Publishing

January 23, 2012 By admin

This writer (Mike is fine) finished college in the spring of 1970, then with a pack on his back, hitch hiked to New York, flew across the Atlantic, and started hitching around Europe, then across Asia using mostly his thumb, to India and Nepal.  That first real trip abroad was the very beginning of the desire to do some writing about travel and/or mountaineering.

In the beginning, Mike was using a little guidebook titled, Guide to the World’s Mountains.  It had 244 pages and was written by a retired US Army guy who used military hops to get around the world.  Mike used that book for the first 3 or 4 trips overseas, then in about 1975, decided he had as much if not more material than that book, so why not do another one that’s bigger and better.  This was the beginning of Kelsey Publishing.

From that point on, all travels were not only for an adventure to see the world, but for climbing every mountain possible, and then write about it.  The end result was a book, Climber’s and Hiker’s Guide to the World’s Mountains & Volcanos. which was written and published by this writer Michael R. Kelsey.   The 1st Edition came out in 1981 and had 680 pages; the 2nd Edition had 800 pages; the 3rd Edition, 928 pages, and sold for US$36.95.  It took 7-8 years to sell all 5000 copies of that book.  Then finally in 2001, the 4th Edition came out–about 4 months before the September 11, 2001 attacks on New York and the Pentagon.  Unfortunately, and because America supports Israel and Zionism–which was the reason for the attacks on 9/11–world travel has declined especially for Americans, and sales of all guidebooks dealing with world travel, now fly like a lead balloon.  And the recovery is nowhere is sight.  As long as the American-Israeli alliance is alive and well, world travel like the kind this writer used to enjoy, is all but dead in a large part of the world.

But the 4th Edition, which has 1248 pages (584 maps, 650 B+W fotos, perfect bound, 14cm x 21cm (5 1/2” x 8 1/2”) format, 5 cms (2 inches) thick. ISBN 0-944510-18-3) and is of much better quality than the 3rd Edition, is still available at US$36.95  and may never sell out as long as this mountaineer, now canyoneer, is still alive!

Going back in time a little, Mike eventually got into hiking the canyons of southeastern Utah.  That started in about the late 1970’s.  This led to writing and publishing a number of other books on that region.   Best known of the group is the Non-Technical Canyon Guide to the Colorado Plateau, now in its 6th Edition.
